EZE Sweet

EZE-Sweet is a sugar substitute and an artificial sweetener with NO aftertaste.

With EZE Sweet, you’ll need less than one teaspoon compared to two tablets of other popular brands. The main ingredient in our product is a special plant-based fiber made from corn (mielies). Through a natural modification process, the corn starch is transformed into a long-chain molecule that your body recognizes as fiber.

This unique ingredient has a light sweetness and, unlike ordinary sugar, it’s gentle on your body. It helps give you the sweetness you love, while still supporting a healthier lifestyle.

EZE Sweet carries the Diabetes SA logo and we have many customers with diabetes who use EZE SWEET with success. Due to the complexity of diabetes, we do however suggest that you test EZE SWEET for yourself and decide whether it works for you or not. Please consult your physician if you are unsure.

The product contains very small amounts of Sodium Saccharin and Sodium Cyclamate. These are well-established, scientifically developed sweeteners that enhance taste and help create a fuller, more sugar-like sweetness. They are among the oldest sweeteners in use worldwide and have been safely enjoyed in food and beverages for more than 50 years, with approval from food authorities in most countries.

Can EZE Sweet be used to cook and/or bake?

Yes, EZE Sweet can be used in both cooking and baking with excellent results. You may need to experiment slightly with your recipe, but as a general guide, using one-third to half the volume of sugar will give you the same sweetness as regular sugar.

Baking with EZE-Sweet – Quick Conversion Guide

• General Rule: Use ⅓ to ½ the volume of sugar your recipe calls for.
• Example: If your recipe uses 1 cup of sugar, try ½ cup (or less) of EZE-Sweet.
• Taste Test: Adjust slightly to suit your personal preference.
